An invitation and an application

Saltwind Post is a privately administered, invitation-only account service. A valid invitation allows you to apply. It does not guarantee approval, an independent mailbox, any particular address, or uninterrupted service. Applications are reviewed personally. The account service may be paused or placed into maintenance.

Your account

Use a contact email you control, provide accurate information, and keep your password private. Contact-email verification and administrator approval are required for restricted functions. Do not share an invitation beyond the permission given by the person who issued it. You are responsible for activity you knowingly authorize through your account.

Correspondence, with care

Do not use the service for spam, phishing, fraud, malware, impersonation, harassment, unauthorized access, or unlawful activity. Do not attempt to bypass approval, access another person’s information, or interfere with the service. The administrator may reject or suspend access where necessary to protect people, the service, or meet a legal obligation.

Mailboxes are assigned separately

A Saltwind Post account is separate from a Spacemail mailbox. The administrator may manually provision a real mailbox subject to provider capacity and availability, then associate its address with your account. Spacemail has its own credentials, terms, and service policies. An active allocation provides an external sign-in entrance; it does not make your Saltwind Post password a Spacemail password.

The writing desk

This workspace can store your explicitly saved drafts. It does not currently read or send mailbox messages through IMAP or SMTP. An unsent draft is not a delivered email. Keep a separate copy of important correspondence and use your assigned provider mailbox for actual delivery.

Availability and changes

This is a small service without an uptime commitment. Features, allocation, or availability may change. Maintenance and security controls may temporarily stop access while preserving records. We will aim to communicate material changes through an appropriate account notice or contact channel. These terms do not limit any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Leaving, or asking a question

Contact [email protected] about account closure, an application decision, or these terms. Handling of personal information is described in the Privacy note. Do not send passwords, recovery tokens, or MFA secrets by email.
